Decoupage Wooden Bead Statement Necklace

The art of decoupage is the creative technique used on this artsy long statement necklace with linked large beads. Vintage fabrics and textile prints are copied onto paper and scaled to size. The prints are cut into strips, given a brush of decoupage adhesive, and carefully applied to the wooden bead. This technique is repeated until the bead is completely covered. A final satin topcoat is applied to offer both a protective coat as well as a glossy finished look. 39"L with lobster closure.
